Exhortations for the Church

3/29 ... God has not appointed us to wrath

The wrath of God comes on this earth when the sin is full on this earth.

While there has been sin since the days of Adam and Eve, and we have seen God destroy this earth because of the sin of man in the days of Noah, the wrath of God comes again in the end because of the sins of man on this present earth.

What are we seeing today? Approval of adultery, fornication, homosexual-lesbians ...

We know society as a whole approves these sins because of that which is put on TV. If society disapproved, it would be kept off TV as it was kept off in generations before.

It has changed so much since 1940.

All this shows us we draw closer to the coming of Jesus for HIS people and the wrath of God on this earth and the eventual destruction of this earth.

For we know by the Bible what will happen.

Jesus will come for HIS people.

I Thess. 4 ... 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The people of God will be taken up from this earth to meet Jesus in the clouds, in the air.

Eventually this present earth will be destroyed by God.

II Peter 3 ... 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

God showed the apostle John the new heavens, the new earth, the new Jerusalem wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 21 ... 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard A GREAT VOICE out of heaven saying,

Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

We will not have these present physical bodies on the new earth, in the new Jerusalem. God will give us spiritual bodies.

I Cor. 15 ... 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Jesus gave us a very big clue in the following scripture:

Mt. 24 ... 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

What was it like in the days of Noah? Compare that to what we are seeing today on this present earth.

Genesis 6 ... 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually...

... 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

I've never before seen the violence we are seeing now... almost daily there is a new report of violence... insane rampages. As I thought upon what is happening in the world today, I heard the word "violence" and I remembered how this was a "sign" of the days of Noah and how Jesus said this would be a sign of HIS return and the end of this world and the wrath of God upon this world.

God gave me a definition of "violence" as: People caring only about themselves and getting what they want in spite of what it does to another person.

Paul spoke about such in II Tim. 3 ... This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves,

Another sign Jesus told us to watch for is it would be as in the days of Lot.

Lk. 17:28 ... Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

The primary thing shown us in the days of Lot, just before the angels took Lot out of Sodom, were homosexuals everywhere from every quarter of the city where Lot lived.

Genesis 19 ... 1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; 2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. 3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. (Have sex with them. NIV)

6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. 8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place: 13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it.

At the 2016 Democratic Convention, I was very shocked. (while watching this on TV)

During the roll call, a man dressed like a woman was standing on camera directly behind the delegation speaker. It was obvious this was a man as he had a heavy "five o-clock shadow" growing on his face. This man's nails were cut like a woman's and were polished in a pearl color nail polish.

I was shocked to see this man dressed like a woman being accepted by the delegation.

This wakes us up even more to what is happening today ...

I Thess. 5 ... 1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with HIM.

11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Hebrews 10 ... 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for HE is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

It is critical that we exercise ourselves unto godliness ... reading Bible and godly exhortations... thinking on things of God ... building ourselves in the faith in God ... edifying ourselves.

We must build ourselves up in the faith in God daily as never before, surrounding our minds throughout each day and keeping ourselves with the Word of God and through prayer to God.

It is going to get much worse on this earth.

To the homosexuals and lesbians it must feel like "peace and safety" as never before.

This is one of the signs of the end ...

I Thess. 5:3 ... For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

In 1979, God gave me the following terrifying dream:

A meeting was going on. A man was speaking to a room filled with people. I went in and began to listen.

A second man rushed in and said: "Stop ... Wait ... Can't you see ... It's too late ... It's already begun."

The first man resumed speaking.

I looked out the window to see what had "already begun."

There was a tall pole with a yellow civil defense speaker at top of the pole. A gas was coming out of the speaker. I knew it was poisonous and would kill the people. It was coming directly toward us!

The shocking thing was the speaker that was set there for the purpose of warning us was being used as the instrument which dispersed the gas that was poison and would kill us!

As I sat back in my chair and listened to the man speaking I began to feel sleepy and I knew as I sat there among them this was killing me too.

God was showing me the anarchy that was already going on in our church groups.

3/30 ... Major signs of the end times, according to Jesus in Mt. 24

In Matthew 24, we are told several major signs of the end times according to Jesus HIMSELF.

The disciples came to Jesus asking: "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of THY coming, and of the end of the world?" Mt. 24:3

Jesus told them several signs they could expect to see.

- It would be like in the days of Noah ... Mt. 24:37-39

In the days of Noah one of the key evils was "violence" ... Genesis 6 ...

While we think of "violence" as the acts we see today through terrorists (and it is violence), there is another form of "violence". There is violence in the hearts of men and women as they set about to get what they want without regard for what their actions will do to hurt another person. Adultery is a form of violence in that the adulterers fail to think of the hurt they cause their whole households, their mate, their children, their families. People rising to the top in jobs often do same in hurting those around them in their attempt to get to the top. Certainly this has gone on for many generations, probably since beginning of world, but the thing that is so strong now is society is being taught to approve the evils and the sins against God and sins against Bible as they flaunt various Bible sins: fornication, adultery, homosexuality, remarriage after divorce, men marrying divorced women. (Mt. 5:32, Jesus says the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery)

Even in the churches today this scripture has been removed to the point it is extinct, unknown, in many churches. Therefore divorce is approved in the church and classes are even set up to promote remarriage (adultery) in the church as singles classes help divorced women find a "Christian" mate in the church itself, ignoring that which Jesus said in Mt. 5:32 and that which the apostle Paul said was a commandment for the New Testament church:

I Cor. 7 ... Paul says ... 10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

- According to Jesus iniquity will abound on the earth before HE returns. Mt. 24:12

In the 2016 Democratic convention, at the roll call vote, I was shocked to see among the delegates a man dressed like a woman. I could tell he was a man because he had a 5 o'clock shadow on his face as beard growth. The delegates around him seemed to be accepting him. Then later the bold announcement was made "with pride" that for the first time there would be a "trans gender" speaker speaking at the convention. Again the shocking thing is to see the approval for such among the people.

Jesus said: 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. Lk. 17

In the days of Lot, before Sodom was destroyed, homosexuals came from every quarter of the city to have sex with the 2 men (who were really angels sent to destroy Sodom) who were guests in Lot's house. Genesis 19

The forced approval of homosexuals/lesbians and society's acceptance of these sins today has to be signs of the coming wrath of God upon this earth.

Romans 1 ... God's view of homosexuals/lesbians ... 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

... 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

My cousin told me the following story: She was invited to a "dinner" at the home of her neighbors. She thought it was to be a type of picnic outdoors. She was so embarrassed to have gone to this dinner wearing jeans. What it was is a "wedding" where her neighbor, a man, wed another man.

My cousin said she was so embarrassed to be sitting there in blue jeans.

I told my cousin, I wouldn't have been sitting there at all. When I found out this was a homosexual wedding, I would have gotten up and left immediately.

My cousin doesn't know anything much about Bible.

All manner of sins stated in Bible have been removed from many church congregations and the approval of sins is presented in the various churches.

All this has to be signs of the approaching coming of Jesus and the wrath of God that is to come upon this earth.

And what to do we do?

Even more, we are to daily exhort one another and to keep our own minds focused in reading Bible and reading godly exhortations.

Heb. 10 ... 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

To assemble with other godly people, you may have to leave your own church group for most churches today are lawless, having removed various scriptures such as the following words of Jesus ...

Mt. 5:32 ... and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

3/31 ... Stressed by what you see on TV?

Watching the TV news can be very stressful unless you keep your mind controlled by what God has said in the Bible.

Jesus warned us as follows:

Jn. 16:33 ... These things I have spoken unto you, that in ME ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

We have been given information from Bible which shows us that which is to come and shows us the wickedness of worldly people will get worse and worse but we, who are of God, are kept by focusing on God rather than on the world.

II Tim. 3 ... 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

... 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

The seduction is very subtle and can even look like a good thing to those who do not know Bible.

At one of the political conventions, they tried to include all people:

- A "trans gender" person spoke for the first time ever. The crowd being taught to accept this and to accept all persons.
- Homosexuals/lesbians approved and crowd taught to accept them.
- Abortion approved.
- Adultery approved.
- Fornication approved.

I viewed a little of this convention, with sound muted on TV, not wanting to hear what they said.

I was very shocked to see a man dressed in a woman's dress. He was obviously a man because on his face there was a "5 o'clock" shadow of a beard growth. The people at the political convention seemed to be accepting him among them.

This can upset you greatly unless you realize the last days, before the Lord comes, the wickedness of this world will increase.

Jesus said ... Mt. 24 ... 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

We "endure" through faith in Jesus Christ, The Word.

Jesus said: "My kingdom is not of this world." Jn. 18:36

The Holy people of the Bible looked for "new heavens and new earth" wherein dwelleth righteousness. They declared they were strangers and pilgrims on this present earth. Heb. 11

This present earth will be destroyed by God. II Peter 3 & Revelation 21

Peter says: But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. II Peter 3:10

... Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. II Peter 3:13

The apostle Paul tells us, we, the people of God are not appointed to wrath that is to come upon this earth due to the sins upon this earth.

11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

And we are told to exhort one another and "even more" as we see the day approaching ... We need to surround ourselves daily, reading Bible and godly exhortations, keeping ourselves filled and renewed daily with word of God.

This is very important to do in order to survive the wickedness before our eyes on this present ungodly world.

Heb. 10 ... 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for HE is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

As the people were stoning Stephen (Acts 7), he looked steadfastly into heaven.

Isaiah 26:3 ... Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on THEE:
because he trusteth in THEE.

When we know the scriptures, we should not be depressed nor dismayed at the evil we see on this present earth for the scriptures tell us to expect the evil to increase on this earth before Jesus returns.

Lawlessness will increase in the hearts of men by antichrist. II Thess. 2

Two things were key in bringing the previous destructions, wrath of God, upon the earth.

In days of Lot, homosexuals were "in every quarter" of the city. Genesis 19

In the days of Noah, violence was everywhere.

How can we not see what is happening on this present world?

Jesus said before HE came, it would be like the days of Noah ... and like the days of Lot. (Mt. 24:37 & Luke 17:28-29)

Certainly we will not like seeing the homosexual activity and the violence in this world, but we can expect to see this because of the end times and the scriptures telling about the end times. Hopefully we will not allow ourselves to be depressed because we know these evils are appointed before the wrath of God and the return of Jesus Christ.

And the great evils we see today in the churches are also a part of what Paul told us in II Thess. 2 ... antichrist (a spirit in men) would come into the churches and the churches would "fall away" from scripture to be able to accept one another in various sins.

This is what is happening today as big-time protestant ministers seek audience with the Catholic pope. One unified church which accepts everyone without repentance and in disregard for the instruction of God in the Bible.

The "falling away" of the end times in the churches told of in II Thess. 2 are church groups falling away from Bible and setting up other doctrines which permit lawlessness to be approved inside the churches.

We see this today everywhere we look ... Thus the church seems "watered down" ... for it is greatly changed from the power of God through the changing of the scriptures.

For example:

... Call no man Father ... Mt. 24
... Man who marries divorced woman commits adultery ... Mt. 5
... Let not the wife depart from her husband but, and if, she depart let her remained unmarried or return to her husband. I Cor. 7

And many other scriptures are changed from Bible.

But the apostle Paul tells us:

II Tim. 3 ...

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing OF WHOM thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

To hang on, we need even more focus on Bible and godly exhortations, deliberately surrounding our minds daily in such ... and in prayer, staying connected constantly to God.

Jesus told us, in Mt. 24, some things that would happen before HE returns.

Jesus says iniquity would abound on the earth … and because of this, the love of many would wax cold. Some will fall away from the faith in God because of the iniquity around them. But those who endure to the end will be saved. Mt. 24:12

Paul says Jesus cannot come unless the apostasy in the churches comes first.

II Thess. 2 ... NASB ... Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the day of the LORD) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed

The restraint was the scripture. When portions of scripture were removed from the church, lawlessness moved into the churches ... thus the apostasy in the churches.

Antichrist is not just one man but is a spirit that is in many men just as the devil is in many men.

A young man said the Bible is " legalistic". This troubled me greatly. I told God this troubled me greatly. And I was reminded by the Holy Spirit of the following scripture and when I read this scripture, I rejoiced!

Jesus says … Mt. 7 … 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate:for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

One critical help for the people of God in the last days before Jesus returns for the church are the godly exhortations given by the Holy Spirit.

We are warned:

Hebrews 10 … but exhorting one another:and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

These volumes of exhortations are given to help the end-time church to continue in the faith in God and to hold fast as the wickedness of this world and apostasy in the churches increases.

In 1979, God gave me the following terrifying dream:

Destruction was everywhere.

I went into a meeting room where a meeting was going on. A man was speaking to a room filled with people. I went in and began to listen.

A second man rushed in and said: "Stop ... Wait ... Can't you see ... It's too late ... It's already begun."

The first man resumed speaking.

I looked out the window to see what had "already begun."

There was a tall pole with a yellow civil defense speaker at top of the pole. A gas was coming out of the speaker. I knew it was poisonous and would kill the people. It was coming directly toward us!

The shocking thing was the speaker that was set there for the purpose of warning us was being used as the instrument which dispersed the gas that was poison and would kill us!

I looked at the man seated next to me. He had a big grin on his face and was looking directly at the man who was speaking to the group. But then I saw this man was a corpse, though he looked alive. He was already dead!

I looked about the room at the other people and realized they were all dead.

As I sat back in my chair and listened to the man speaking I began to feel sleepy and I knew as I sat there among them this was killing me too.

God was showing me the anarchy in the church groups, at the time of the dream, 1979. The destruction in the churches was everywhere, even at that time. And it is much worse today.

Exhortations of the Word of God are given to the church to help us in the way of God as we live on this present earth. The church is edified and strengthened in the faith when we read and hear godly exhortations.

Today the masses of people want freedom to sin ... to be free to do whatever they choose to do as a matter of "personal preference" ... to be approved by society in general as they commit adultery, fornication ... as they live as homosexuals and lesbians ... to have the masses of people approve them regardless of their "life style" ... basically they want to be free to sin.

This "lawlessness" against the Word of God is antichrist, the man of lawlessness.

As churches removed and changed scripture, the restraint against lawlessness inside the church groups was removed and antichrist moved into the church groups in the form of a spirit in the hearts of the lawless inside the churches.

This is exactly what the apostle Paul said would happen and Paul even said this had to happen before Jesus could return.

II Thessalonians 2:3-4 (NASB) ... Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

... (6-8) And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed

"He who now restrains" is Jesus, THE WORD OF GOD ... THE HOLY SCRIPTURES ...

When scriptures are removed, lawlessness reigns.

This is what we are seeing today in the various church groups.

It sets the stage for the return of Jesus.

I asked God how I could make these messages about antichrist stronger and I heard: "Tell the poison gas dream."

*2/1 ... Believing on Jesus

John 6:40 ... Jesus said ... And this is the will of HIM that sent ME, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on HIM, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jesus, the Word, was with God before the heavens and the earth were created.

Genesis 1:1-3 ... In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Everything was created by the WORD. God said and it was created.

Hebrews 11:3 ... Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

God said: Let there be light and light appeared ... light did not exist before God spoke ... Light was not created from something that was already there. Light was a "new creation" ... By faith we understand this. Heb. 11:3

God is a spirit. Jesus was, and is, a spirit. The Holy Spirit is a spirit.

Jesus, the spirit, was made flesh and dwelt among us. And for a time, Jesus walked on this present earth in the form of the flesh of man, looking like other humans. But Jesus was not like other humans. Jesus was born of a virgin. The Holy Spirit came upon Mary and Jesus, the Son of God, came through Mary.

For a time Jesus appeared on this earth as a man looking like other men. Wasn't Jesus the son of Joseph and born of Mary? How can Jesus be of heaven? They asked. How can Jesus be the Son of God? How could Jesus do all these miracles that no other man did?

We can see how hard it would have been if we had lived at that time to believe on Jesus as the Son of God. We knew his father, Joseph. We knew his Mother and his brothers.

Then Jesus began doing miracles that no other man did. Who is this among us? Some saw the works done by Jesus and believed on Jesus as the Son of God. Others did not believe even though they saw the works HE did ... healed the blind, the deaf, the lame ... raised the dead ... turned water into wine ... walked on water ... was able to read though he had never been taught letters ... spoke with authority, not as a man ...

Only by God could they believe "on HIM".

And only by God today can we believe "on Him".

Salvation is of God. When God chooses, HE reveals Jesus to the individual.

Mt. 16:13-18 ... When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

HE saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

And Simon Peter answered and said, THOU art the Christ, the Son of the LIVING God.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

This ROCK that Jesus would build the church on is the word revealed by God.

God, HIMSELF, put it into Peter's mind to believe Jesus was "the Christ, the Son of God". No man taught Peter this. This information was revealed to Peter by God.

This is the reason Jesus called Peter "blessed" ... because God had revealed HIS Truth to Peter.

And the church itself is built upon the "rock" of the word God reveals to the individual.

And the gates of hell will not stand against that WORD God speaks to us, that word revealed to us by God.

Today, when we believe on HIM (on the Word) we enter into eternal life.

Many hear the Word of God in the form of the Bible read to them at their churches. But to them it sounds like words, sometimes pretty words, which lulls them to sleep. Nothing much happens. But to others sitting there, God awakens them by THE WORD ... Quickens them by THE WORD, they believe and therefore they act upon THE WORD they have heard from God by HIS Spirit. The ones who hear and believe and act upon that word are the NT Church.

Paul said ... For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. I Thessalonians 2:13

To those of us "touched by God", The Word of God, the Bible, is not the word of men but the word of God and we are turned from various ideas when we are reminded by the Holy Spirit of the Word of God. We are led by the Spirit of God through the Word of God as we live on this present earth. We can go forward in the way of God by the Word revealed to us by God by HIS Spirit.

We share the word of God and sometimes others believe also. And when they believe, they receive eternal life as we have received eternal life.

Those who "believe" and act upon that Word are the children of God.

My mother followed horoscopes all her life. After I was born again, I was visiting her and saw some mugs with horoscope signs in her kitchen cabinet. I had given these to her before I was born again. When I saw these after I was born again, I got a garbage bag and began putting those mugs into that bag. My mother became excited when she saw me do that and she said, "What are you doing. I want to keep those. You gave them to me." I paid no attention to her words and I did not reply at all to her. When the mugs were in the garbage bag, I opened the door, took them to alley, broke them, and threw them into the garbage dumpster in the alley.

I returned to the house. Picked up the Bible and read the following to my mother.

Deuteronomy 18:9-14 ... When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God. For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

After I read this, my mother said: "Then I guess we'd better not do that any more."

She was born again when she believed The Word ... It wasn't lip service coming from her. She really believed what I read to her was THE WORD OF GOD.

This is so significant. The name "Jesus" is not even in that scripture. But it is THE WORD (Jesus) and by believing, my mother "received" Jesus and was changed forever.

Another example.

I was born again in 1975 while reading a book about sin. The Holy Spirit said to me: "Joan, you know all these mistakes you've been making all these years? Those weren't mistakes. Those were sins."

"Sins!" ... I was so shocked.

I certainly believed what the Holy Spirit said to me. I was changed instantly!

When I was about 15-years-old, I went forward at my aunt's church and was baptized in water. But I wasn't changed. I went forward because I didn't want to go to hell and I thought this is what the preacher was saying, "Be baptized and you will not go to hell." I thought I was a Christian but I was not a Christian.

But I knew I was changed after God spoke to me about sin in 1975.

At the time this happened, I owned a small business ... American Indian Arts

I was flying to Albuquerque, NM, to buy art objects for my business.

As the plane began to land, I heard, "Be baptized."

My cousin who was member of Church of Christ was meeting me at the plane. I said to her,

"Jeanne. If you can arrange it at church, I will be baptized this afternoon before I return to Dallas."

She was very surprised and replied, "But you've already been baptized."

I said, "Yes, but I was not born again. Now I am born again."

She didn't understand but she did set it up. Several of my relatives gathered at the church building that afternoon and the minister said to me, "Would you like to say something?"

I just began speaking by the Holy Spirit. I noticed one cousin shaking her head up and down ... "YES".

I noticed at one point my uncle began to cry.

When the minister lowered me into the water, the Holy Spirit said to me, "This is like being buried with Christ."

When I was coming out of the water, Holy Spirit said, "This is like being raised with Christ."

This is what Romans 6 says but I didn't know Romans 6 at that time.

3-19 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into HIS death? Therefore we are buried with HIM by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.For if we have been planted together in the likeness of HIS death, we shall be also in the likeness of HIS resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with HIM, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with HIM: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over HIM. For in that HE died, HE died unto sin once: but in that HE liveth, HE liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

After I was baptized, my uncle came to me. He said, "I've never heard anything like those words you spoke. Can you write those words out and send them to me?"

I said, "I guess I can."

When I returned to Dallas I wrote those words as I recalled them and sent them to my uncle.

I believe my uncle "believed" the word I spoke and was born again at that time.

John 6:40 ... Jesus said ... And this is the will of HIM that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on HIM, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jesus, the son, is THE WORD.

As we speak THE WORD given us by the Holy Spirit and as hearers "believe" THE WORD, they are saved through believing THE WORD.

Another example:

I gave this word to a woman who attends a Catholic church.

Jesus said ... Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

She "thanked" me for the message ... but she didn't believe the word spoken for she continued in the Catholic church, calling men "Father."

Had she believed the word, she would have quit calling those men "Father" and most likely other truths would have been revealed to her. When we accept one truth of God, it opens the door for more.

Like Abraham, we believe THE WORD unto righteousness ... doing the word ... acting on the word.

Jesus says ... I AM the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst. John 6:35

Believing on Jesus, is believing "THE WORD"...

THE WORD is life ...

John 6:28-29 ... Then said they unto HIM, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on HIM whom HE (GOD) hath sent.

The Word comes to us today by The Holy Spirit bringing The Word to our minds ... By God putting THE Word directly into our hearts ... By preaching of the Word ... By the Bible ... through godly exhortations.

When we "believe" that Word spoken by God, we are changed after believing. God gives us HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. We are then a "new creature".

II Corinthians 5:17 ... Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Jesus Christ has taken away our sins when we believe on Him, on THE WORD.

Jesus, THE WORD, is the "bread of life."

John 6 ... Jesus says ...

33 For the bread of God is HE (THE WORD) which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

... 35 And Jesus said unto them, I (THE WORD) am the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst.

... 41-42 The Jews then murmured at HIM, because HE said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that HE saith, I came down from heaven?

... 47-48 Verily, verily, I (Jesus, THE WORD) say unto you, He that believeth on ME hath everlasting life. I (THE WORD) am that bread of life.

... 51 I (THE WORD) am THE LIVING BREAD which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

... 53-55 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink HIS blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

56 He that eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, dwelleth in ME, and I in him.

57-58 As the LIVING Father hath sent ME, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth ME, even he shall live by ME. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

We eat Jesus' flesh and drink Jesus' blood as we partake of THE WORD OF GOD.

The Word of God is the Lord's supper.

I Corinthians 11:23-32 ... For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which HE was betrayed took bread: And when HE had given thanks, HE brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is MY body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of ME. After the same manner also HE took the cup, when HE had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in MY blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of ME. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till HE come.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord (THE WORD), unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. (Examining himself by the Word of God.)

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

For if we would judge ourselves (by the Word of God), we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

The Lord's supper (the communion) is not crackers and grape juice as many church groups today think.

The Lord's supper is partaking of THE WORD OF GOD. It is the Word of God that changes us and nourishes us and guides us as we live on this present earth. The WORD of God is the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Communion with God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit has to do with our partaking of the Word of God and doing as instructed by the Word, making ourselves one with THE WORD.

John 1:1-4 ... In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made. In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.

... 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
