* Vol. 12 - 23 Messages for today's church

Why do I speak so often warning the church about such things as adultery?

Don't we see this is God's warning?

Adultery today is approved and encouraged by many people, as they delight in seeing divorced people find another mate, not realizing they are rejoicing in adultery by Bible standards.

In church groups, the message concerning adultery has often vanished for generations.  I've never heard such things spoken of from pulpit and I've been in various church groups since 1975 ... 40+ years!

How can this be?  Adultery is very serious and is rampant in the world and in church groups.  How is it we are not speaking often about this in our churches, warning the church?

The speakers are set in the church to warn the church.  Are they warning you today about sin?

The doctrine so often in churches centers on forgiveness regardless of what you do.  There is an element of truth in the message but also deception and lies.

Hebrews 10:26-31     For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

For we know HIM that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge HIS people.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

If we sin "wilfully" after we are taught something is sin ... If a person says, "I don't care what the Bible says, I know what I believe," and goes on to commit acts against the Bible, against the Word of God, isn't this a wilful sin?

With so much sin being flaunted in front of our face today on TV and even in church groups as adultery is approved and fornication is accepted and even homosexual/lesbians giving good sounding reason as to why we should simply accept them, shouldn't warning be given to the church as never before?

I can see why God would keep repeating warnings today against these sins, keeping these identified as sins.

Proverbs 3:31    Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.

Sadly, some women marry scoundrels.  They become one flesh with the man when they have sexual intercourse, says Bible.  I Corinthians 6    By this, they are joined together as one flesh by God's plan.

To the thinking of the world, and by even some in church, such a situation would justify the woman divorcing this husband and finding another husband.

But when we keep sound doctrine from Bible in our thinking, we know the following.

Mark 10:11-12    Jesus says:   And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.  And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

I Corinthians 7:10-11    And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

Is there ever a good reason for a woman to commit adultery?

No, there isn't.

*****

Is there ever a good reason for homosexual or lesbian acts?

No there is not.

Homosexuals and lesbians chose to go against nature and God turned them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient.

Romans 1:26-27    For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

The churches today are putting forth a type of gospel which says:  "Don't worry.  God forgives you and loves you.  We aren't under the law any more."

And by these words,  they cease warning the congregation and they focus on approving the people if they choose to sin.

They even cast aside words of Jesus in the NT and cast aside words that the apostle Paul says are the "commandment of the Lord" for the NT church.

God gave me a dream about this in 1979:

Destruction was everywhere. I went into a meeting room where a meeting was going on. A man was speaking to a room filled with people. I went in and began to listen.

A second man rushed in and said: "Stop ... Wait ... Can't you see ... It's too late ... It's already begun."

The first man resumed speaking.

I looked out the window to see what had "already begun."

There was a tall pole with a yellow civil defense speaker at top of the pole. A gas was coming out of the speaker. I knew it was poisonous and would kill the people. It was coming directly toward us!

The shocking thing was the speaker that was set there for the purpose of warning us was being used as the instrument which dispersed the gas that was poison and would kill us!

I looked at the man seated next to me. He had a big grin on his face and was looking directly at the man who was speaking to the group. But then I saw this man was a corpse, though he looked alive. He was already dead!

I looked about the room at the other people and realized they were all dead.

As I sat back in my chair and listened to the man speaking I began to feel sleepy and I knew as I sat there among them this was killing me too.

Then in March or April, 2017, God gave me the word "restraint".

This explained to me what I had been seeing in the church groups for decades, for I recalled that word "restraint" being in II Thessalonians 2, concerning the apostasy in the church which was to come in the end times.

II Thessalonians 2    NASB    Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?

And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed

The one restraining the man of lawlessness was Jesus, THE WORD, the scriptures.

As soon as scripture, even a portion of scripture, was removed, the restraint which held lawlessness back from the churches was removed so antichrist could move into the churches and lawlessness could reign inside the churches.

We should see why it is so important to keep these messages before us day and night so we would not explain away sin and join those who approve sin in the various church groups.
