Paul gave some very good instruction to Timothy and these instructions apply to each of us today for our well being in Christ.
I Timothy 4:13 ... Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
I Timothy 6:20-21 ... O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane (secular) and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
