It is very dark out there and we don't know where to go ...There are many things that we could stumble over because of the darkness, except for the fact that God, Jesus, The Word is light for us to show us what to do on this present earth and also to show us what to avoid so we do not fall into traps of this present world.
God by the Holy Spirit began taking me to concepts in Bible I had not previously seen. LIGHT!
I was reminded of something ... "in the air" ... I thought it said something about this in I Thess. 4 ... so I turned to that scripture and began reading ...
I Thess. 4:13-18 ... But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.
For the Lord HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

God was calling my attention to the fact that it all happened "in the air" ... The dead in Christ were taken off this present earth. Those still alive in Christ were changed to another body (I Corinthians 15) and were taken off this earth. We were all together "in the air", not on this present earth.
Jesus said ... John 18:36 ... "MY kingdom is not of this world."
The apostle Peter explains:
II Peter 3:10-14 ... But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

This present heavens and this present earth will be destroyed by God.
God will create new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.
We, who are of God, look for that, the new heavens and new earth.
God gave the apostle John a glimpse of the new creation.
Revelation 21:1-5 ... And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard A GREAT VOICE out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
And HE said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

For several days after the Holy Spirit showed me the concept that we would rise to meet Jesus "in the air" ... I thought on this and was reminded of this truth by the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth.
A few days after this, I came across a man who presented his "Statement of Faith" ... It sounded very good. He said they believe in one God, the Father of Jesus Christ. They believe Jesus came to earth and died for our sins and was resurrected from the dead and taken into heaven. This man gave many scriptures for each statement. These are the same things we believe. But there was one thing that troubled me in his statement of faith, he said Jesus would return to this present earth and set up HIS kingdom on this present earth. (That is not what God had been showing me by HIS Spirit. Nor does the Bible show this but exactly opposite.)

Antichrist ... opposite to what God says.
We who are of God, have the light through the Word God gives us by HIS Spirit.
Walk in that light. Cling to that light. Go in the way told us by that light of the Word.
